good atmosphere but needs attention to detail
The Prohibition event provided an immersive experience with staff and guests dressed in appropriate attire, creating excitement. The dinner was delightful and enhanced by exceptional drinks in the Copper Room.
Some areas of the hotel felt slightly outdated and could benefit from refurbishing.

During my stay, I loved being just steps away from Choc-O-Latte for a sweet treat and the Fine Eye Gallery, where I enjoyed browsing local artwork, both adding to my leisurely weekend experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Sutter Creek. My room, the Deluxe King Room, was cozy with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of storage space for my luggage made my stay convenient. The restaurant offered delightful dining options, with the blackened shrimp being particularly tasty. Breakfast included complimentary pastries and coffee, which was a nice surprise! However, the elevator was slow, and I encountered a bit of a mix-up with my order at breakfast. It took quite a while for my food to arrive, and when it did, it wasn't quite what I expected either. Still, the ambiance and friendly service made up for it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found the staff attentive and eager to help wherever they could.

The hotel was a great base for exploring Sutter Creek with my family and our service dog. We loved visiting the Amador Flower Farm, where the beautiful flowers were perfect for a fun family outing. The charming old building added to the experience!
For dads, it would be great if the hotel offered more kid-friendly activities or play areas to keep the little ones entertained.

Couples should really check this place out!
The service at the restaurant was superb. They brought out another dessert for me when the first one had a lemon base and I didn't know, talk about caring for your customers!
Definitely not a budget-friendly option but the experience was worth it.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the cozy restaurant, and I loved lounging by the inviting fireplace after a long day of exploring. They also had live music on weekends, which really added to the atmosphere. The only hiccup was the wait for breakfast, but overall, we had a wonderful stay! 😊

The historic vibe of the hotel blends beautifully with its modern restoration efforts, giving it a unique charm. Located right on Main Street, it’s perfect for hopping into local boutiques and eating spots, making it easy to enjoy the town's ambiance.
A few things could use improvement. The elevator is characteristically slow, which might test your patience, especially if you're in a hurry. On the dining side, I faced an hour wait for overcooked food that really didn't hit the mark. the hollandaise sauce seemed nonexistent, and the salmon didn't taste fresh at all. It's a shame, given the hotel’s overall charm. not every meal will leave you satisfied. Also, the parking situation can get tricky during busier times, leaving you hunting for a spot.

Had a great time with friends! We explored the Roaring Camp and enjoyed nature at the Amador Flower Farm. The staff was friendly, and the location on Main Street was perfect for shopping and dining. Our room was comfy, and we appreciated the early check-in. Just a heads up. the elevator is a bit slow since it's an old building.
